Somkiat Chantra undergoes successful surgery

IDEMITSU Honda LCR rider Somkiat Chantra underwent successful surgery today at Hospital Universitari Dexeus in Barcelona. The procedure, performed to address an injury to the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee sustained during training, was carried out by Dr. Joan Carles Monllau, and the outcome was satisfactory.

Chantra will not be replaced for this weekend’s German Grand Prix, while Takaaki Nakagami will step in as his substitute for the Czech Republic Grand Prix.
